Dated October 6, the Municipality has requested that the area status is changed to industrial use:
Letter from Dragoer Municipality to the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) (Extract) “Area 1 - Dragoer Municipality holds, because of its geographical location, attractive sites for industry and business that is able to take advantage of the easy access from Copenhagen Airport and from the Motorway to Sweden. In addition, the access to public transportation including bus connections to regional trains and metro at the station in the airport is an advantage.
We therefore suggest that the area close to Airport South/Northern Dragoer will be transferred to city zone and made available for business, that comprise a low noise-sensitive useage. The area is around 12 HA and will be useful for business and industry connected to activities in the Airport that cannot directly be located within the Airport borders.
The area does not contain any natural, cultural or geographical values and will appear as a natural border of the industrial/City zone in the northern part of the Municipality”
We propose a local Danish architect as a sparring partner unless the buying party prefer otherwise. Concept sketches are currently under development by a renowned Danish architect.
